NaNoWriMo Progress at Halfway

November is about halfway over, and Lisa and I are at 68,000 words. Now I’m thinking this is going to be about 120,000 words when finished.

This is, by the way, the most words I’ve ever written on any single work. It alone probably equals or exceeds the number of words in all the short fiction I’ve written this year.

You’ll Always Have the Burden With You

Remember how I always wanted to write a specfic story about the tax code? That story, “You’ll Always Have the Burden With You,” has been sold to Dagan Books for the IN SITU anthology.

Now this isn’t a specfic story involving the tax code PLUS Lisp programming, which I have yet to write. But I’m halfway to completing my goal now.
